I'd love to win. Sorry to say that we never visited much of GA when we lived in FL for over 40 years, it was just passing through going to visit the in-laws in NC. Now we live in Oregon so your book will fill in some gaps.

How neat that there is a book written of the history of your island. Would be a nice break as I am handquilting until I wilt at the moment. I have to get my QAL project done in time for the quilt parade. I lost more than a week of time when it was so hot. Now I have to have it done by Wednesday.

Hugs from Holland ~

Ever since I found your blog I have had a keen ingterest in your island.

What a wonderful giveaway. I enjoy reading about your little patch of heaven.

I would like to read this book, even though I have a feeling that after reading this book I may feel a greater sense of loss than I already do. Since learning about the island through your writings I do wonder about "those in charge", those who continue to not only allow the island's grand and historical landmarks to turn to ruins, but do what they can to help it along.

Marcia said...

Such a nice give away. I love reading your blog and can only imagine what it would be like to live there.

What can I say here that has not already been said. Cumberland is such a fascinating place but there really isn't a massive amount about it (in depth) on the internet. This book would really fill in the gaps for me! Plus, I do love a good raffle!
