"Ears To You!"

You just never know what you'll find on the beach!
On the back of this child's hat, it says "Ears To You!" tee hee
I need to get over to the beach today. My butt is numb! I've been sitting for far too long quilting! One of the things that I always enjoy while quilting are Audio books, since I lack enough eyes and hands to do all that I want to do... Valentina mentioned this book, and I'm really enjoying it!
~The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society~
When I need a break, I work on this.  Look at this messy studio!
I always enjoy going back and looking at the photos I randomly decide to take. This one has the Oxford English Dictionary on my work table. lol  Wonder what I was looking up!?! You just never know! Notice I never show you the "other half" of my studio! There's a reason... Be afraid. Be very afraid! lol FABRIC!!!!!!! PILES of messy fabric! I'll get it all organized and show you one day.

You have a great studio, lots of light and lots of workspace what more can a person ask for , as for the fabric piles , what quilter doesn't have that ;-) I must check out that book ,thanks for the tip.

You should also listen to "Prodigal Summer" by Barbara Kingsolver. Very good!

At least you have a nice sized room with great light to work in. Love the quilt block you had in the picture. I was reading your previous post, sounds like a very frustrating situation. ugh! I wish you peace.

I loved that book!
Your studio looks like a place meant for creating beautiful things - and the other half??.....well, who ever said creation was orderly?

Interesting, love to have an audiobook on while I am quilting!! Otherwise I will be thinking on the next quilt, and the next, and the next LOL! Almost done I assume? Hugs, Daniëlle

Ha! You think your area is mess, I have been there...it looks sharp! You knew exactly where everything was, now didn't ya? I want a sewing room like you have...and one day...what is that Scarlet said, as God is my witness. Ha! Hopefully soon it will be built. Now the dictionary, that kind of had me scratching my head...unless you were trying to flatten something out... :) I bet you are tired of sitting there hand quilting, but I know it looks wonderful.

I love that book, too. Don't you love all, or most, epistolary novels? I do. Michele

Well you couldn't quilt and listen to a Janet Evanovich book...I just finished "Hot Six" and laughed out loud so many times! I guess you saw my little "studio" at the cottage...I tidy up before I take some photos....I love your studio and what happens outside too!
Love that hat! Imagine. Just read yesterday's story...some people are never satisfied with what they have....god bless Doc.

It looks organized compared to my mess Sandra. I have those kind of spots all over the house. The only rooms in the house that DON'T have my crafty stuff are the bathrooms. :o) Even the kitchen sees it's own form of craftiness. Love your space.
